The EOS 50D will be the successor to the Canon EOS40D

The most important issue for the owners of the EOS40D is the degree of sensitivity to light of the new camera model; 40D reaches ISO 1600 and pushes to ISO 3200. 50D reaches ISO 3200 and simulates the ISO 12800 standard, which is a great improvement, especially for a broad spectrum of area photos, for example in mines, or any low-light shooting enviroment in general. ISO highest rank of scope for expansion of situations, any lens can be used , this is a very welcome upgrade.
