Canon has introduced a much anticipated eos 50d (50 D), an updated version of the Canon EOS 40 D. It looks almost like its predecessor though, there are many significant improvements: the 150,000-pixel CMOS image sensor, a faster digic 4 processor, 3.0 VGA LCD monitors with live view mode, to provide three modes of AF, which can be expanded To ISO 12800 and HDMI interface connector, for high-quality viewing images.
